One Pair Down: Finding Balance in the Winter Branches

The first step in my earring challenge felt like the hardest — getting over that mental block of making two pieces at once. So I started somewhere familiar, with my Winter Branches collection.

These earrings are statement hoops, textured and organic, carrying the same lines and patterns that define the collection. They remind me of bare trees silhouetted against a cold winter sky — simple, strong, and quietly striking.

I made them in two different sizes — one bold and eye-catching, the other a little more understated — because sometimes a design needs options, just as branches can stretch high or stay close to the ground.

Designing them reminded me that earrings don’t have to be complicated to make an impact. Sometimes, texture and form speak for themselves.
