The Earring Challenge Journal: Ten Pairs, Ten Stories. River Flow Studs

Imperfect Pairs and the Flow of Water

My third design flowed naturally into an existing collection: River Flow.

I wanted to make something simple, so I created textured oval studs. Each one was shaped by hand, so no two are exactly alike. They’re not identical twins — more like siblings, with their own quirks, but part of the same family.

That’s always been the essence of River Flow for me: movement, change, and imperfection as beauty. These studs capture that in a quiet, wearable way.

Three pairs down, and I’m starting to enjoy the rhythm of this challenge.
