Next Friday, the 26th, is MacMillans Coffee Morning. This is Macmillan's biggest fundraising event where people hold coffee mornings to raise money for people living with cancer. The event started in 1990 when a local fundraisng committee decided to hold a coffee morning where people could meet and where they would donate the cost of their coffee to MacMillan. Such a simple idea!!
Since the first National World's Biggest Coffee Morning in 1991, over £113 million has been donated to Macmillan Cancer Support!
So, next week, I will be at Worcester Race Course's Coffee Morning and Race Day where I will be selling the Priscilla bracelet. This bracelet was designed in memory of my Godmother who passed away this June. The profits from the sale of the bracelet are split between Macmillan and Mary Stevens Hospice, two amazing charities. In addition to this, I will be selling other gorgeous items of jewellery. From every sale, I will donate 15% of the price to MacMillan.
