A HUGE 232.08 carat diamond has been found by Petra Diamonds, a mining company in Pretoria, South Africa! The Cullinan mine is famous for producing large diamonds including a rare 122.52 blue diamond vaued at $35 million, and the largest diamond ever found! The 3106 carat Cullinan diamond was found in 1905 and was cut into stones that are included in the Crown Jewels.
This new diamond is the largest found since 2009, when a 507 carat "flawless" diamond was unearthed, fethching $35.3 million!
